Holiday Season Donations for Jessie’s Place

While the holidays are a special time of year for most of us, (time spent with family, friends, exchanging gifts, sharing meals), for some it’s a heartbreaking time.  Unfortunate circumstances can force people to be homeless, hungry, and in need of help. Many of them have children.  Jessie’s Place is the women and children’s shelter of Jimmie Hale Mission Ministries. It is a haven for homeless, hurting women and children seeking shelter while preparing for self-sufficiency.

Tool-Smith has agreed to help by participating in a donation drive.  Instead of focusing on a specific drive like food or clothing we are going to have a box for each: Food, toiletries, clothing, Jessie’s place Wish List Boxes, and an Immediate Needs list. A simple inexpensive toy is never a bad idea, such as coloring books, crayons or a stuffed animal.

Open your hearts this holiday season and bring what you can to help these women and children.
